ニューヨーク・タイムズが発表した「2023年に行くべき52カ所」で２番目に紹介された盛岡
盛岡って、とっても魅力的な所があるんだろうなと思っていたんだ
ただまだゆっくりと街の中を歩けていないんだよなぁ
Morioka was featured second in the New York Times' ``52 Places to Visit in 2023''
I thought Morioka must be a very attractive place.
I just can't walk around the city slowly yet.
今回、いわて銀河鉄道に初めて乗ったのだ
This was my first time riding the Iwate Galaxy Express.

北に来たらやっぱりおそばだよなぁ

紅生姜の天ぷら、大好きなのよ
サクサクで蕎麦もつるっとおいしい

やっぱりドーミーインはお風呂最高だよね
雪が舞い散る季節に入る露天風呂は最高です
After all, the baths at Dormy Inn are the best.
The open-air bath is the best during the snowy season.

駅前にある旭橋の前にある新しくて奇麗なホテル
お風呂が、トイレと独立していてとってもくつろげるよ
A new and beautiful hotel in front of Asahi Bridge in front of the station
The bath is separate from the toilet, making it very relaxing.
ホテルde弁当
ごはんを食べに行こうと歩いていたんだけれども、時間も遅く弁当買ってホテルでくつろごうかなと思ったんだ
ホテルの近くにコンビニはあるけどスーパーは見つけられなかったけど、1kmくらい歩けば、マックスバリュがあるみたい
ちょっと歩くけど、行ってみよう
I was walking to go eat dinner, but it was late so I thought I'd buy a boxed lunch and relax at the hotel.
There is a convenience store near the hotel, but I couldn't find a supermarket, but there seems to be a Max Valu if you walk about 1 km.
It's a bit of a walk, but let's go.
ホテルから、マックスバリュ盛岡駅前北通店までは1kmくらいかな
よく地方に行くとお寿司を食べるのだが、何を食べようか見ていたら、なんとロースとんかつ弁当がなんと半額！
480円→240円だよ！
It's about 1km from the hotel to Maxvalu Morioka Ekimae Kitadori store.
When I go to the countryside, I often eat sushi, and when I was looking at what to eat, I found that the loin pork cutlet bento was half the price!
480 yen → 240 yen!
あとは三陸産のいわし竜田揚げを買ったんだ
うっ、美味しい
大変満足な夕食でした
I also bought fried sardines from Sanriku.
Ugh, delicious
It was a very satisfying dinner.

エピローグ
盛岡って、東京から意外と近い
東京→新大阪くらいの感覚
盛岡駅から1時間も走ればもうそこは大自然
Morioka is surprisingly close to Tokyo.
Feels like Tokyo → Shin-Osaka
Just an hour's drive from Morioka Station and you're in the middle of nature.
なんか名残惜しいなぁ
今度は三陸海岸に行ってみたい
また来るぞ！
It's a shame I'm left behind
I want to go to the Sanriku coast next time.
